ALTITUDE : ‘1000’ site - 330m (1840m
ASL), ‘600’ - 200m high, ‘1600’ - 600m high.
DESCRIPTION
: Grass-covered mountain offering
easy toplanding and fun flying. A great starting point for
cross-country. On the luckier afternoons, you can soar high above the
peaks in smooth ‘valley release’.
WIND : N-SE (600), NE-SE (1000), S

LAUNCH : A gentle slope of grass
overlooking the village of Bulwer
LANDING
: A large, sloping field down and to the
right of takeoff, accessed via Alexander Road, just behind the garage
on the south side of town.
